Nba Team Ranking, the Official Ranking: Phoenix Suns in first place

The Gazzetta.it ranking is back, measuring the balance of power in the Association every week

Blinding. The Suns shine so much on the NBA at the end of January that they are blinding: by far the best team, the first with 40 wins and with an open streak of 10 wins. Phoenix always leads the Gazzetta Team Ranking, again chased (but at a distance) by Golden State. Lots of news in the standings: Philadelphia goes up, Brooklyn and Utah go down, the Lakers collapse again, who are now 19. Here is the complete ranking.

DENVER NUGGETS

Record: 28-21
Resounding relaunch, with an open streak of 5 wins in a row, 4 of which away, including Sunday’s triumph in Milwaukee. Denver is flourishing again around Nikola Jokic, who averages 27 points, 12.4 rebounds and 10 assists in the series and continues to remember in every game why he is the current MVP. The series of trips continues in Minneapolis and Salt Lake City: the Nuggets can prove that they have really made a difference.

14

ATLANTA HAWKS

Record: 24-25
The open streak of 7 wins is a sensational change of pace that brings the Hawks back to what they should be, a racing team, and takes them away from what they have been until now, a flop. Atlanta has changed pace with the group (7 players in double figures) and the defense (6th most efficient in the last 7 games, 27th in the whole season). The Hawks have a long way to go to rectify the mistakes of the first half of the season, but for the first time in a long time they seem to be on the right track.
