On the occasion of the 24th day of Ligue 1, Metz will host Olympique de Marseille on Sunday (8:45 p.m.) in a full Stade Saint-Symphorien. The problem is that despite the travel ban for its supporters, the Marseille club will surely be able to count on thousands of fans in Lorraine. A phenomenon that Metz coach Frédéric Antonetti does not understand.

“That’s football, it’s a party. What’s a shame is that there will be 15,000 Marseilles (laughs). I can’t understand that we are from Lorraine and support Marseille , regretted the technician. You have to explain it to me. Maybe I missed a class at school. But that’s how it is. There will be 30,000 people, that’s very good and it would take let it always be like this. That’s one of my personal goals.”

The explanation is simple, OM is one of the most popular French clubs.
