“Guntis [Galviņš] “He came to us and asked us to terminate the contract prematurely for personal reasons,” the team said in a statement.
Galviņš played 37 games in the ranks of Vītkovice club this season, in which he returned two assists.
He joined the unit last season, coming from another extreme club in Tršinets “Ocelārži.

35-year-old Galviņš started his career in the “Prizma” line, played for “Riga 2000” for several seasons, represented Riga “Dinamo” for eight seasons, played for clubs in Hungary, Russia, Sweden, Italy and the Czech Republic.
The account of an experienced defender also includes participation in 13 world championships and one Olympic Games as a member of the Latvian national team.
