Evra says trophy awarded by ‘France Football’ to Lewandowski is a ‘poop prize’ – International

Former footballer compares the trophy handed to the Pole to a gramophone

Patrice Evra is among the many football personalities who believe that Lionel Messi should not have won the Ballon d’Or and that the trophy awarded by ‘France Football’ should have gone to Robert Lewandowski. On Instagram, the former Manchester United player had already criticized the fact that Edouard Mendy, from Chelsea, did not win the award for the best goalkeeper, accusing the magazine of racism, a video in which he also referred to the award of the Ballon d’Or to the Argentine. Later on Twitter, Evra returned to the charge. He said again that ‘France Football’ created a prize to compensate Lewandowski and compared the trophy to a gramophone. “When ‘France Football has to create a poop prize to keep everyone happy when they feel guilty,” wrote the former French international.
