Dāvis Ikaunieks returns to the Czech Premier League with a draw by Jablonec

Jablonec near Nisov played 1: 1 (0: 0) with Slovan in Liberec on Saturday.

Ikaunieks left the field in the 85th minute, when the result was already 1: 1.

In the 54th minute, Michael Rabušics put the home team in the lead with a penalty of 11 meters, but Jablonec played in the 77th minute after the exact broadcast of Mihala Čerņāk.

In the Czech championship “Jablonec” with 21 points in 22 matches takes 12th place in the competition of 16 teams.

The 27-year-old Ikaunieks returned to the Czech club at the beginning of the year.

In the summer of 2018, the striker moved to the Jablonec team, which made his UEFA Europa League group debut next season. In the same year, Ikaunieks was recognized as the best football player in Latvia.

However, he failed to establish himself in the “Jablonec” club, and in the summer of 2019, Kuldīga was hired to the RFS team.
