Eiduka finished 1.1 seconds in 30 minutes, 1.3 seconds behind winner Anja Vēber from Switzerland. The bronze medal was won by the Russian skier Veronika Ivanova, who was separated from the champion by 13.1 seconds.
The World Championships for Juniors and U-23 Athletes in Linz will run until February 27.
Eiduka went straight to the U-23 World Championships from the Beijing Olympics without returning home.
