ATP – Monte Carlo > Franulovich, director: “I’m sure Nadal will come, it’s one of his favorite tournaments and it serves as his preparation before Roland-Garros”

While the press conference presenting the Masters 1000 of Monte‐Carlo took place this Thursday, Zeljko Franulovich, the tournament director, after having warned Djokovic about the rules to be respected, spoke about the Rafael Nadal case which will be , except injury, undoubtedly present from April 10 to 17 to try to get a 12e trophy in the Principality.

“I saw Nadal’s game in Australia and the truth is that it should be the plot of a Netflix movie. It’s superhuman. Nadal has extraordinary strength. Medvedev played at a high level and still couldn’t beat a competitive beast like Rafa. No need to announce that the Spaniard will play the tournament. I’m sure he will come. It is one of his favorite tournaments and it also helps him prepare for Roland-Garros. »
