Alejandra Zavala opens international agenda with World Cup in Egypt

The woman from Jalisco, fourth place in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, will participate in the 10 and 25 meter women’s pistol modalities, so since last weekend, she set out on her way to the Middle Eastern city, where she began training and adaptation for the start of the contest.

The event, endorsed by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), will have the participation of 504 exponents, from 60 countries, for which they complied with strict health control due to the covid-19 pandemic. 19.

According to the program of the Organizing Committee, next Saturday February 26 will be the official entrance, while on Sunday 27, after a technical meeting, the competitions will begin, which will last until next Monday March 7.

Before opening her competitive calendar and participating in the World Cup in Egypt, Alejandra Zavala began 2022 with training in her native Jalisco with the goal of reaching the Paris 2024 Olympic Games after not competing in Tokyo 2020.
