The draw for the WTA “Sydney Tennis Classic” 2022, placed Tunisian tenniswoman Ons Jabeur (10th WTA) against Australian Astra Sharma, ranked 98th in the world.

By qualifying, Ons will compete against the winner of the match between Czech Petra Kvitová (WTA 17) and Dutch Arantxa Rus, 64th in the world.
