Word to Marc Rosset – “The Djokovic affair: unheard of in the history of tennis!”

“The Djokovic affair: something never seen in the history of tennis!”

According to Marc Rosset, much of the Australian public would have to turn their backs on Novak Djokovic if he was allowed to play in the AO. A complicated situation to manage over two weeks of competition.

Marc Rosset, if Novak Djokovic is well authorized to play in the Australian Open, in what physical and mental form will he present himself?

It’s hard to say, because Novak Djokovic still lives with a kind of Damocles sword on his head. Until he receives a final visa, he will live in tension and stress. If he is allowed to play, it will be interesting to see the reaction from the public, who will not be 100% behind him. Perhaps at the end of this soap opera Novak will suffer a backlash.

It’s still something that we have never seen in tennis: a player who is detained for four days in a hotel, a player who arrives at a tournament with, above him, a government that wants to kick him out! In this context, it is difficult to make a prognosis.
