Yves Vanderhaeghe has agreed to play padel with Deschacht against a DH team while discussing his C4, the Cercle, Anderlecht and his future.
“I emptied the apartment of my dad who died in November. I cook for my daughter who is in the middle of her exams. I empty cupboards at home. I watch football on TV, but without having to analyze the teams. I finally have time to run again. And every week, I do padel, with Oli.”
This last sentence gave us an idea. On the eve of the match between his former clubs Anderlecht and the Cercle, would we not invite Yves Vanderhaeghe (51 years old) to a padel match, linked to an interview? His answer : “Perfect. I’m booking a court in Laarne. Deschacht will be there too.”
Deschacht is solid, with its ranking of 400 points (P400). And Vanderhaeghe (P300) is not doing badly either. If we have the same classification as Vanderhaeghe (P300), we should not present ourselves with an amateur. Oli wants a strong opponent, so as not to waste his time for an hour and a half.
