Warriors, sin Stephen Curry y Draymond Green ante Pelicans

The Golden State Warriors will not have Stephen Curry and Draymond Green for Thursday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans due to injuries.

Curry injured his left quadriceps while driving and hit the knee of Dallas’ Dorian Finney-Smith in the third quarter Wednesday night. Curry said after the Warriors lost to the Mavericks that he was not optimistic about being able to play in the second of a back-to-back in New Orleans.

Green, who has pain in his left hip, has played two games since leaving health and safety protocols Sunday. Green faced a strain on his right hip last month. Juan Toscano-Anderson (ankle) is also out against the Pelicans.

Curry said he was hopeful the quadriceps injury wouldn’t drag on and keep him out of multiple games.

“The body feeds on the mind,” Curry said. “So I hope not.”
