Even if Tom Brady, the veteran quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he is completely focused on his next commitment, which is the Divisional Playoff game next Sunday against the LA Rams, made a space in his agenda to ‘settle scores’ with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In honor of the truth, the Philadelphia team exceeded its own expectations in the 2021 season, capturing a NFC postseason berth with a 9-8 record in the Eastern Division, qualifying for the wild card game.

As a reward, the Eagles earned the right to play by visiting Brady’s team in Tampa Bay, the defending champion of Super Bowl, by the way. The Buccaneers ended up winning 31-15, eliminating Philadelphia.

But nevertheless, for Brady there was a slight personal slope against the Eagles and for this he used his social networks, in particular his Instagram account, to more or less settle accounts.

Part of the data context is that during Super Bowl LII (52), Brady failed to catch a pass, who threw the catcher at him Danny Amendola on a trick play in which the quarterback ended up as a receiver.

The veteran passer stretched to his full length, but the ball went out of his hands and that play could have resulted in a touchdown, but it was not like that, but rather it ended in ridicule.

But this Tuesday Brady took revenge in an Instagram post in which he gives Philadelphia fans a scratch, who had no compassion for the past veteran’s slip trying to catch that infamous shipment.

“Look at the smile when I catch it (the pass). I love you Philadelphia fans,” Brady wrote in his Instagram post, accompanied by that video showing his failure to catch the ball and what happened against the Eagles on Sunday.

After an incomplete pass by the Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hurts, out of the field, Brady can be seen letting go of his helmet to free his hands and catch the ball on the sidelines, an event he celebrated as if it had been a touchdown, or perhaps that shipment that got out of hand in SB LII.

At different times Brady has recognized that that pass he could not catch continues to haunt him, particularly when an Eagles fan is nearby.

Although it is not the same instance in which that pass that could not be took place, arguably at least Brady had a slight rematch.

Even if Philadelphia ended up winning 41-33, taking Brady and his team at the time, the New England Patriots, out of the hands., the Vince Lombardi Trophy, crowning himself the NFL champion.
