The LVGB has 60 licensees

The steering committee of the LVGB (Le Volant gannatois du badminton) held its first board meeting, in the presence of Cédric Billard, the new president. The new management team thanked Rachel Fauritte for all the energy and dedication deployed during her four years at the head of the club, efforts which today allow us to look to the future with serenity.

Graduates of all ages. The health crisis has not had too much impact on the club and its 60 licensees aged 9 to 70 who can indulge 5 times a week in their favorite discipline. Beyond the administrative structures that should be consolidated, LVGB favors pleasure and leisure in its practice of badminton for all, with an openness to competition and the participation of licensees in various tournaments.

During this meeting, the new management team discussed how to set up a development project for the club: recruitment and reception of new licensees; training, supervision and creation of a youth center oriented towards competition.

The management committee has also shown itself in favor of the organization of an official tournament on the Portes occitanes site and the development of partnerships with local businesses.

Five training slots. Club members can train five times a week at the Portes Occitanes gymnasium: Tuesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesdays, 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Fridays, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and Sundays, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
