The chronicle of Christophe Franken: the tears of Mr. Kagawa

The chronicle is signed Christophe Franken.

Did you imagine Shinji Kagawa this weekend on the couch of his apartment in Saint-Truiden? Have you thought of this boy who was champion of England with Sir Alex Ferguson’s ManU and who wanted to discover his new environment by watching the Pro League on TV? Frankly, we felt sorry for the new Canaries striker.

On Friday, he saw the heads of 57 people on the news and discovered the word “footgate”. Bribes, forgery, organization of criminals, match fixing… Welcome to Belgium, Mr Kagawa. Then he zapped on Eleven to follow Ghent – Kortrijk. The most modern stadium in the country was empty. Yes, restaurants, cafes, theaters and cinemas are open but football has been closed. Does the virus live differently in Belgium by developing more outside than inside? Is the concept of gauge still unknown in our Kingdom? He will have time to discover and appreciate the charm of our surrealism.
