Spanish power forward Willy Hernangómez and the New Orleans Pelicans fell this morning to the Boston Celtics (97-107), who took refuge in the great night of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, on a day in which Santi Aldama enjoyed a few minutes in the victory of the Memphis Grizzlies against the Washington Wizards (115-95).
At the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, the Pelicans (18-31) conceded their third consecutive loss to remain twelfth in the Western Conference, all in a game in which they paid for Tatum’s 38 points and Brown’s 31 for the visitors. .
The oldest of the Hernangómez enjoyed his third straight start and contributed 14 points -second highest scorer of his team after José Alvarado (19)-, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in half an hour of play that were not enough to win; those from Louisiana again accused the casualties of Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Jonas Valanciunas.
For his part, the Canarian forward Santi Aldama barely played a minute and a half, capturing a rebound, in the victory, third in a row, of the Memphis Grizzlies against the Washington Wizards (115-95).
