The 5 tennis players to watch in ATP for the 2022 Season

With the Season 2022 Already underway, with the first official tournaments of the circuit being held, it is time to begin to trace the paths that could be followed this year. As we did last season, at Punto de Break we drew up a list of players to follow or take into account and who could put up a lot of war over the next 12 months. Last year we hit the key and the tennis players we mentioned gave a lot to talk about. Will we achieve the same this year?

The 5 tennis players to follow for this year 2022 in the ATP

Among the names that we highlight could not be missing, obviously, that of Carlos Alcaraz placeholder image. The Murcian had in 2021 the year of his hatching in the circuit and left records for history. It’s been a couple of decades since anyone as young as him broke precocious records the way he did last season. For this year 2022, we think that Carlos could have a year similar to the one he had Jannik Sinner in 2021, a year of settlement within the Top, with several finals and / or titles and getting very close to the Top 10, even stepping on it, as the Italian finally did.

Another name on our list is that of Sebastian Korda. The American is true that he has been somewhat stagnant in the last six months of competition in 2021, but he remains one of the brightest of his generation. With much room for improvement in various aspects of his game, he may end up approaching important places in the Ranking in 2022, and treading final rounds in the occasional major tournament.

In our video, we also talk about an Argentine, Sebastian Baez, which in the past 2021 had a great growth and that in 2022 could make the final leap to settle within the Top 100 and start looking at higher positions. In total, there are almost 10 names that we discover on our list. Take a look and let us know if you agree with us or leave us other names that could hit the ball in the 2022 season.
