Tatsuma Yoshida Trains Ex-Club Irfan Bachdim after Resigning from the Singapore National Team

SINGAPORE, iNews.id – Tatsuma Yoshida chose to resign from the Singapore national team coaching chair after failing in the 2020 AFF Cup. He was also reportedly coaching his old club in Japan, Ventforet Kofu.

Yoshida returned to Kofu because he wanted to be close to his family in Yamanashi, Japan. Not only that, another factor that made the 47-year-old coach return to his old club was because he was reminded of the fans who really respected him at the club. Previously he had been in charge of Kofu from 2017 to 2018.

“I am very happy to be able to meet the many people I met in Yamanashi again and meet new people,” he said, quoted from The Straits Times, Monday (3/1/2022).

Please note, Ventforet Kofu, is one of the Japanese clubs who navigate the second division of the Japanese League (J2). They are currently in third place in the 2021/2022 season standings.

As for this one club, Indonesian player Irfan Bachdim was strengthened in January 2014. Unfortunately at that time Bachdim failed to appear in a single game at the club.
