Units pel Bàsquet Gandia has organized a Christmas campus on December 27, 28, 29 and 30 for players of the youngest, juvenile, infant, cadet and junior categories. The activities have been developed in the municipal pavilion and on the uncovered tracks of the sports center, as can be seen in the image above.
Some 75 boys and girls from different locations in the categories cherub, pre-baby, baby, baby boy and child have participated in the I Campus Víctor García organized by CD Xeraco and the Department of Sports led by Quique Parets and Víctor García, player Real Valladolid CF’s xeraquero on loan this season to RC Deportivo de La Coruña. Participants have enjoyed the values of sportsmanship, camaraderie and fun, as well as learning more about their favorite sport.
The Natació i Esports Gandia and the Safor Teika Athletics Club have jointly participated in training sessions aimed at athletes from both clubs. They have podium training swimming, cycling, running and strength and enjoy talks by the MotoGP rider, Iván Ortolà, the former Olympic swimmer Lydia Morant, the nutrition specialist, Esteban Peiró, and the national athletics coach Vicente Torres. A Corriol Oliva TT team made up of Darshan Cortell, Luca Bellero and Jaume Morató has triumphed in the XLIV Aniverssari CTT La Vila Joiosa Trophy. On an individual level, all three were ranked in the top ten.
