Rugins – Football – Sportacentrs.com will continue to play in the ranks of “Riga”

The 32-year-old winger Ritvars Rugins has agreed to continue cooperation with his current team “Riga”, in whose ranks Tukums football student will play for the fourth year in a row.

Last season, Rugins entered the ranks of Rigans in 13 Premier League championship games, as well as in six Eurocup qualifier matches. Rugins retrained as a midfielder after moving from Ventspils and Riga. In each of these teams, Rugins has twice won the Premier League champion.

In the Latvian national team, Rugins has played a total of 39 games, but last year Dainis Kazakevičs trusted other players.

Until now, Riga has been the most active in assembling the defense line. The team of the capital has attracted the defender of the Ghanaian center Baba Musa, who played in “Metta” last year, as well as the outfield defender of the Latvian national team Raivi Jurkovski. The contracts have also been extended by Armands Pētersons and Anton Kurakins, but so far the only addition to the attack front has been the German-born Ghanaian footballer Joselfo Barns, who was recruited by Riga shortly after the end of last season.

Vladislav Fyodorov has left the ranks of “Riga” and has moved to the new champion RFS. Also, the team of the capital has not continued cooperation with Oleg Laizan, Felipe Brizola, Marko Jurichic, and Camilo Sais.
