‘RSC Anderlecht loses Celtic battle over the arrival of midfielder O’Riley’

RSC Anderlecht has remained silent on the transfer market for the time being and has not yet acquired any new acquisitions. It continues to look for reinforcements and thought of Matt O’Riley for that.

According to the English Sky Sports O’Riley was on Anderlecht’s wish list. The 21-year-old midfielder currently plays for the third division team MK Dons, where he impressed with seven goals and six assists in thirty matches. Anderlecht show interest, but seem to miss the arrival of O’Riley.

Blackburn, Huddersfield and Venezia also show interest in O’Riley, who eventually seems to be moving towards Celtic. The Scottish top club has already negotiated with MK Dons and is willing to pay up to 1.8 million euros for O’Riley. He is about to take his medical tests at Celtic.

It is not the first time that O’Riley can move to Belgium. He was linked to KRC Genk in the past, but then opted for an extended stay at his then club Fulham.
