Report: Tom Brady doesn’t know if he will play for the Buccaneers in 2022

Time passes and the end of the race of Tom Brady seems to be approaching by leaps and bounds. Despite the above, the quarterback’s retirement could be closer than expected.

According to information from Adam Schefter, of ESPN, (also endorsed by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network) Michigan graduate will use part of the low season to decide whether to rejoin the Buccaneers for the 2022 campaign. Members of the organization have expressed uncertainty about Brady.

It was added that Brady will weigh his physical and mental state, in addition to the wishes of his family to decide your future. In the event that Tampa Bay repeats as NFL champion, the 44-year-old QB would opt for retirement.

Brady is under contract with the Buccaneers through the end of the 2022 season. That deal is a $25 million contract extension he signed in March 2021—although only $8.92 million will impact Tampa’s salary cap.
