Peruvian team will face foreigners Liga1 Betsson before match Colombia | Playoffs | Qatar World Cup

Next Friday, January 28, the Peruvian team will visit Colombia in Barranquilla, to play the match on date 15 of the South American Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Both teams will have preparatory matches prior to the World Cup qualifying clash, and their coaches, Ricardo Gareca and Reinaldo Rueda, observe players from the local leagues, as they are not FIFA date games and they cannot summon the internationals.

However, this Sunday it was confirmed that seven Colombian footballers are already confirmed to face the Peruvian team led by Gareca. Was Rueda’s summons leaked?

Not precisely. It turns out that there will be seven Colombians who are summoned by coach Carlos Bustos, from Alianza Lima, to integrate a combination of foreign players who compete in the Peruvian league (Liga1 Betsson).

This team of foreigners from the Peruvian league will play a preparation match against Peru next Wednesday, January 12, at the Videna-FPF Sports Complex.

Among the 18 foreigners is Paraguayan striker Roberto Ovelar (Deportivo Municipal), remembered for his time at Junior de Barranquilla and Millonarios.

The Colombians cited are: Arley Rodríguez (Alianza Lima), José Ramírez (Academia Cantolao), Edy Renteria (Sport Boys), Kevin Serna (Asociación Deportiva Tarma), Jimmy Valoyes and Víctor Perlaza (Sport Huancayo), Donald Millán (UTC Cajamarca) .

Peru will face Panama and Jamaica, on January 16 and 20, in friendly matches.
