The FFBaD, whose activities were severely impacted by the health crisis, decided to support and thank the pillars of the practice: club volunteers.
In order to reward the volunteers who get involved in affiliated badminton clubs throughout the country, the FFBaD dedicated an envelope of € 100,000 to them and requested the distributors of badminton equipment who added the sum of 30,000. €. These € 130,000 made it possible to thank 2,674 volunteers in the form of vouchers made available before the end of year celebrations. Each club has named 2 or 3 beneficiaries on the dedicated platform. These vouchers in the amount of 46 euros or 69 euros opened the right to the purchase of equipment in 8 specialized brands in France.
This commitment bonus was designed to thank the volunteers who are too often forgotten. The latter preserved, for many months, the associative fabric and continued to maintain the social link with the badists by competing in ingenuity.
This operation will be followed up and completed by a sponsorship operation offered to loyal licensees at the start of 2022.
