The Olympico between Lyon and Marseille should take place. According to L’Equipe, the FFF rejected the appeal of Olympique de Marseille which challenged the decision of the Disciplinary Commission of the LFP to replay the OL-OM meeting, interrupted after less than five minutes of play on the 21st last November after a bottle was thrown in the head of Dimitri Payet.

Following the serious incidents which led to the final stoppage of this match, the Disciplinary Commission imposed a penalty point on Olympique Lyonnais and gave the match to be replayed on a date to be determined. “The FFF clearly believes that OM is not justified in appealing the decision taken in early December because the sanction affects Lyon,” writes the sports daily. Marseille can possibly contact the CNOSF.
