As part of the interclub meetings, the Henri-Verger room hosted, on Saturday afternoon, the Rennes REC (Rennes student club) and the Brest club badminton section as part of the prenational selections.
“This is an event that we supported in conjunction with the town hall by providing the REC, the organizer of this sports meeting, the room and the equipment (poles, nets, tables, sound system, etc.)”, underlined Laurent Goupil, president of JSN Badminton. Different matches were held allowing spectators to see great play on the pitch with men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles matches. « Through this event, we want to promote sport in general, the municipality being in this framework the Terre de Jeux 2024 label. », said Dominique Langanné, deputy mayor.
JSN Badminton will organize, by the summer, an intergenerational badminton meeting.
