Now Marcus Rashford (24) expresses himself!
With all the criticism that Manchester United coach Ralf Rangnick (63) currently has to take, Marcus Rashford (24) is now breaking a lance for his coach. In a Twitter post he speaks out in favor of the ex-Leipzig resident.
Manchester United is currently in seventh place in the Premier League, the club has already changed coaches once this season: Ralf Rangnick took over for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (48). And yet it just doesn’t work for the Red Devils. While Cristiano Ronaldo (36) is said to be skeptical of Rangnick, Rashford is now behind him.

In a statement on Twitter, Rashford wrote:
“We were all disappointed with the latest performance and we were equally disappointed with the coverage that challenged our trust not only in the coach and coaching staff but also in the club. I have infinite respect for both of them and look forward to improving my game under the Manchester United coaching staff. I’m not sulking, I’m not unhappy, am I disappointed with some of my recent accomplishments? Of course I am. I am my own biggest critic. It’s been a tough start, but I’m determined to prove my worth. “
With this, Rashford strengthens the back of his coach – and tries to buy him more time.
The day before, after rumors about him, midfielder Fred (28) also confessed to the club: “I just want to say that I am very happy here and I have never expressed my dissatisfaction or the possibility of leaving the club.”
Rashford and Fred’s statements could help bring some calm to the current situation at Manchester United. Rangnick will thank both of them. Because, as the United boss admitted on Friday, some of his players are dissatisfied, while the contracts of some other players expire in the summer – Paul Pogba (28), Jesse Lingard (29), Edinson Cavani (34) and Juan Mata (33).
