On Tuesday, December 21st, the Judo / Ju Jutsu Verein Friedrichshafen e. V. Belt exams for children and adults in the Ju Jutsu in the Bodensee sports hall. Ju Jutsu is a modern martial art that combines elements of different martial arts, or takes them as a basis and turns them into an effective self-defense system. After a long preparation period, which also had to be interrupted by hall closings due to Corona, eight children and three adults took the belt test to demonstrate their skills. In addition to the techniques required for the respective belt grade, the examiner also assessed the dynamics of the technique combinations and the kinetics. The required Ju Jutsu techniques had to be shown against sometimes several different attacks and demonstrated in combinations consisting of several techniques. Ultimately, all test subjects have successfully passed the test and are now entitled to wear the newly acquired belt color. Emely Bucher and Moritz Filler can now wear the green belt for the children, Lara-Sophie Saltik the orange belt and Tanja Guth, Alexander Guth, Josie Bucher, Tim Filler and Rebecca Lorenz the yellow belt. For adults, Paula Becker, Alexander Koselteik and Wolf-Michael Dieter passed the exam for the yellow belt.
