MLB: Mets reaches deal to upgrade screens at Citi Field

New York Mets announced Samsung Electronics America as the official stadium display and technology solutions partner, signing a multi-year agreement to offer a complete transformation of the screens of the Citi Field Stadium to create an interactive fan experience like never seen before in MLB.

Samsung, A leader in digital signage innovation, it will bring to life the Mets’ vision of creating a one-of-a-kind ballpark with its unique portfolio of displays, content management platform and services.

From the moment the fans arrive at the property until their final departure, they will experience game day in a whole new way. Enhancements expected in 2022 include new backboards and more than 1,300 LCD screens throughout the stadium to bring fans the best viewing quality and ensure they don’t miss a single pitch.

A new board in center field bigger than you already have, but this will be as of the 2023 season. The Wi-Fi network for both press, administrative and fans will be one of the most powerful for a Major League stadium.
