An agreement with a 24-year-old footballer has been signed for a year and a half.
Lazarev started the previous season in the “Ventspils” team, playing eight matches, but after the Courlanders withdrew from the Latvian Premier League, he moved to “Spartak” in Jurmala in the summer.
As part of Jūrmalnieki, Lazarevs went to the field in two super leagues and one Latvian Cup match.
Prior to that, he was in Valmiera for two years, but before returning to Latvia, he played in the Italian lower leagues.
Lazarevs has represented the Latvian youth team, and last year he was invited to join the adult state unit.
Arta’s team is ranked 12th in the second group of the second Super League after nine games.
