Judo: the Marnavalais (already) in training

On Sunday January 2, around thirty judokas from the competition group of the Judo-club Marnaval / Saint-Dizier met all day at the Laurent dojo for a training camp in order to start this new year 2022.

Ranging from cadets to seniors, judokas and judokates including the international tricolor Mélanie Clément-Legoux as well as Margaux Silvestri and Nawaliatou Babio, residents of Insep, performed in the morning a music session on the tatami to work on cardio with circuit training and muscle strengthening.

The afternoon was devoted more to the pure practice of judo with oppositions and exercises focused on intensity. “All the selective championships resume from January 15th. You have to be ready. They were given ten days of rest with a personal program. This course is organized to put them immediately in the hard, to stimulate them and restore discipline, rigor “, says Francis Clerget, sports advisor of the club, who coordinated this day of recovery in the company of sports director Mohamed Ouali, Clément Legoux and Baptiste Vincent.

As for Mélanie Clément-Legoux, she is doing an internship at Font-Romeu this week with the French team.
