Judo-Jujutsu

Self-defense, body control, fitness – that and much more is offered by Ju-Jutsu at SV Lohhof. The judo department is now starting a new beginners course for young people aged 16 and over and adults. Ju-Jutsu is a young self-defense discipline that was developed in Germany in 1969 from the Budo sports of Judo, Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu and Karate. The most effective techniques from all these Asian martial arts were brought together and further developed. The athletes learn effective throwing, levering, choking and striking techniques. This allows the Ju-Jutsuka to defend themselves effectively in an emergency – even against several attackers. Besides Ju-Jutsu, Hanbo-Ju-Jutsu is also trained in Lohhof.

The beginners course in the dojo in the Ballhausforum, Anna-Wimschneider-Str. 1-3, run by Wolfgang Dittmer (2nd Dan) and Peter Fuchs (1st Kyu).
