James Harden and the Sixers, teams ready to enter the NBA?

For several months, the Philadelphia Sixers have shown their interest in James Harden. Potentially on the market next summer by declining its “player option”, the back of the Brooklyn Nets embodies a priority for the leader Daryl Morey.

To allow the former Houston Rockets player to sign an XXL contract, the Sixers are even thinking of a sign-and-trade with Ben Simmons. However, several franchises are closely monitoring this issue.

Indeed, according to information from Yahoo Sports journalist Chris Haynes, teams are ready to seize the NBA if Harden approaches the Sixers. Why ? Because there would already be ongoing discussions between the two parties.

76ers co-owner, Michael Rubin is a very close friend of Harden. And obviously, the other leaders of the League are therefore wary of negotiations launched several months ago between them. Suffice to say that an investigation will be very likely if this scenario occurs.

Especially since in recent years, the NBA has shown its desire to limit tampering as much as possible. For now, James Harden remains focused on the Nets. And rumors about his possible departure from Brooklyn have recently died down. A case to follow…
