It is chaos on Bologna-Inter, the Nerazzurri are not there: this is why they will appeal

The sports judge, metaphorically washing his hands, passed the hot potato about it Bologna v Inter to the League. What is the difference compared to Udinese-Salernitana, where instead the Friulians were temporarily awarded the victory? And why did Bologna-Inter receive such a hasty verdict and the other matches postponed on January 6, however, have not yet and you will probably be awarded 3-0 here too? Let’s be clear.

The match between Bologna ed Inter scheduled for January 6 at the Dall’Ara was skipped because the local ASL blocked the hosts, who had 5 positivity in the team group (now, after the new protocol, the maximum limit for postponement is 9). In his decision, as also highlights The Gazzetta dello Sport, the Sports Judge assessed the ASL veto as a cause of force majeure, having acted as per regulation, unlike Salernitana. The rossoblu in practice have no faults.

Inter, however, is not there and does not intend to stand by and watch. For the management, the situation is anomalous and there was a clear difference in treatment between the other cases and that of the Nerazzurri, also given the precedents of last season: this is the first similar case in which it is decided to proceed in this way . Because? Inter therefore decided to appeal, even if only on principle. They want to see on what basis and through which documents the Sports Judge made his decision, going against the practice that instead provides for the 0-3 at the table. In fact, having not made use of Bologna at the time, the Nerazzurri management could not see the documents and now, rightly, they want to see clearly.

Even with the appeal, the game will almost certainly repeat itself, but it remains to be seen when. The timing will inevitably lengthen and almost certainly the date of February 23, unwelcome to Inter for calendar reasons, will be postponed later. The earliest subsequent useful date could be March 16th.
