Stopped during a check, two twenty-year-olds got into trouble: in the car in which Amelia’s carabinieri were traveling they found cocaine and a baseball bat.
It happened during a weapon check along the central Via Roma, around 4 in the morning. In the car, owned by a twenty-year-old Narnese, a modest amount of cocaine was found hidden under the car mats while on the back seats the military saw a baseball bat, owned by an Albanian boy – also he twenty years old – who was traveling in the car.
The Narnese was reported to the prefecture as a drug user while the Albanian was denounced on the loose for the crime of “unjustified possession of weapons, objects or tools capable of offending”. The drug and the mace were seized.
