Addressed by Privāta Dzīve, the financier explained why he was initially hesitant to change his surname.
“Until recently, I doubted it, I think – Ilze Jurkāne is my brand, but then I decided to change the surname, because the brand is myself, not my surname,” reveals Auzere.
It has already been reported that Auzere is the surname of Ilze’s family.
As it is known, the break-up of the Jurkāns couple’s marriage was widely discussed in the yellow press – in 2015, news appeared that Jurkāns had been in a relationship with another married woman for about a year – the wife of Riga Stradiņš University professor Pēteris Apse, English teacher Linda Apsi. Ilze, feeling betrayed and hurt, demanded a divorce.
Last year, during a visit to the 360TV show “Tell me out loud”, Jurkāne was asked if she was in pain from her last marriage. “I think not at all. I think there are still some tails left,” says Jurkāne, adding: “We are very friendly now.”
