It all happened a quarter of an hour into the game, when Haaland sprained his knee trying to catch a cross. The killer went to the ground, clutching his leg painfully. The club’s doctors jumped onto the pitch, who did not hesitate to do the drawer test, through which experts explore whether the cruciate ligament is damaged or not. They were minutes of uncertainty for all the members of Borussia, especially for its general manager, Hans-Joachim Watzke, who watched the scene with a serious face from the stands.
Fortunately, Haaland’s knee was in good condition, so he was able to continue on the grass of the PreZero Arena until he ended up suffering from his groin and, this time, he had to be replaced.
