The hierarchy was respected. For its entry into CAN-2022, Guinea won against the modest team of Malawi (1-0). But the National Sily had to fight to dominate uninhibited opponents.
Guinea started CAN-2022 with a victory (1-0), Monday, January 10, against Malawi. A favorite of this meeting, the National Sily encountered stiff resistance from the Flames.
The Malawians start the game much better than their opponents. Impactful and without complexes, they embarrass the Guineans. In the 16th minute, they offered themselves the first most frank opportunity: on a bad Guinean recovery, Yamikani Chester rushed to goal, but arms his shot too quickly.
