Golf: Jon Rahm joins Cam Smith at the head of the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii

Ranking

World No. 1 Jon Rahm subtracted 12 par on his last 14 holes to play 61 and join Cameron Smith at the top of the Tournament of Champions on the eve of the final round in Hawaii.

Smith and Rahm will play together again on Sunday in the final duo, with a cumulative score of minus-26, five better than their closest pursuer, Daniel Berger.

The Spaniard Rahm made his first buggy of the week on the nine to go on Saturday, but made us forget this odd by totaling eleven birdies and an eagle to pull himself up equally on your mind.

Rahm was the second player on Saturday to play under-12, the other being American Justin Thomas.

The only player with the possibility of dislodging Rahm from the first echelon in this tournament, Collin Morikawa is at minus-14, tied for 19th place in this group of 38 golfers.

No Canadian participates in this competition bringing together golfers who have triumphed in tournaments on the 2021 calendar.
