Football legend Dan Reeves has died – Sports

Football legend Dan Reeves is dead. The former coach of the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons died at the age of 77 of complications from dementia, according to a family statement released on New Year’s Day by the former Falcons media director Aaron Salkin was released. Reeves died “peacefully and surrounded by his loving family in his home in Atlanta”.

The American won the Super Bowl as a professional with the Dallas Coboys, but was mainly due to his long and successful coaching career with the Denver Broncos (1981-1992), the New York Giants (1993-1996) and the Atlanta Falcons (1997-2003 ) known. He was the third coach to lead two different teams into the Super Bowl and participated in a total of nine Super Bowls. Reeves is also one of only ten NFL head coaches to have won 200 career games. He was a member of the University of South Carolina Hall of Fame, the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
