Five new corona cases – including Manuel Neuer

FC Bayern actually wanted to start training for the second half of the season on Sunday. But shortly before the start, several players tested positive. Prominent names are affected.

Shortly before the start of the second half of the season, FC Bayern has five corona cases in the team. As the club announced in the evening, Manuel Neuer, Corentin Tolisso, Omar Richards and Kingsley Coman have tested positive. Co-trainer Dino Toppmöller was also infected with the corona virus.

The record champions therefore postponed the start of training from January 2nd to January 3rd, as this is in accordance with the rules of the new hygiene concept of the club is equivalent to.

At Hertha, Dedryck Boyata, Deyovaisio Zeefuik and newcomer Fredrik André Björkan tested positive, while Silas Katompa Mvumpa and Naouirou Ahamada got it at the Swabians.
