Indonesian players A Maulana Vikri not on the list of best players FK Senica coach Pavel Sustr’s version in the second half of the season.
Senica is currently ranked sixth in the Slovak League with a collection of 24 points from 19 matches. While the top of the standings is controlled by Slovan Bratislava who packs 46 points.
Having become a substitute for the bench at the beginning of the season, Egy Maulana Vikri has slowly managed to gain the confidence to appear regularly in the Senica first team.
From a total of 13 matches played in the Slovak League, Egy started six times with a record of two goals and four assists.
However, Egy was not included in the list of Pavel Sustr’s best players in an exclusive interview on Sports.sk.
“Goalkeeper Ravas [Henrich] kept our defense safe, while Petr Pavlik was one of the best trackers in the league, and we were supported by Sukisa [Elvis Mashike], said Sustr.
The Czech Republic coach then chose a young Slovakian player, Gabriel Halabrin, who is Egy’s competitor in the winger position.
“I am pleased with the development of the young players Halabrin as well as Ioannis Niarchos who is good at taking chances, and the versatile player Simon Umbera.”
Nevertheless, Sustr emphasized that Senica’s success in occupying the middle of the Slovak Super League table was not due to individual qualities, but to teamwork as a whole.
“But I don’t want to forget anyone, all the players contribute to the success of the team and it’s really not just about individuality,” explained the 47-year-old coach.
Senica struggle in the Slovak League is still not over. They must work hard to overcome the team’s financial crisis ahead of the return of the competition.

Egy’s own contract at Senica has expired since December 2021 and until now there has been no certainty about the continuation of the work bond.
Egy is one of the mainstay players of the Indonesian national team under the direction of Shin Tae Yong. Several Liga 1 clubs are confirmed to be willing to accommodate the player if they do not come to an agreement with FK Senica.
