Great excitement and sadness for Konan Oussou (32)!
The footballer died in Ivory Coast when he was only 32 years old. According to the African media, Oussou is said to have been poisoned by his own cousin while on vacation.
Oussou was visiting his family in his hometown of Anyama. He was found dead on December 3rd. His relatives initially assumed that he had died of an illness. But investigations probably showed a completely different finding.
Oussou’s cousin is suspected of having killed him with a poisoned glass of wine. The motive for the act is still unclear. The investigations by the authorities in Ivory Coast are still ongoing.
Konan Oussou last played in the 2nd division in Saudi Arabia for Al-Bukiryah FC. Before that, he played between 2019 and 2020 in Switzerland for Sion and Stade-Lausanne.
