It was rumored recently that the Nuggets were looking for reinforcement on the wing as well as on the inside, and lo and behold, the franchise executives are about to get their hands on DeMarcus Cousins, a pivot capable of relieving Nikola. Jokic, for a good ten minutes.
Not kept this week by the Bucks, after his stay of an interesting month in Wisconsin (9.1 points and 5.8 rebounds on average, in 17 minutes, at 47% on shots and 27% at 3-points), “Boogie” did not take long before finding a new point of fall, and we are talking about a first 10-day contract.
The Denver Nuggets are planning to sign free agent center DeMarcus Cousins to a 10-day contract, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

DeMarcus Cousins will have the advantage of knowing the coach of the Nuggets, Michael Malone very well, since he worked alongside him for a season and a half with the Kings, between 2013 and 2014. The relationship between the two men was then very good, until the former Sacramento coach was fired, much to his amazement.
A dismissal that “DMC” never really digested, he who had then continued to express his regret, vis-à-vis the decision of its former leaders. Mostly feeling guilty, because it was while he was injured that his coach was fired.
But, seven years later, the romance between DeMarcus Cousins and Michael Malone could resume, in Colorado …
