The streaming service only stated that the reasons that led to the termination were “no trivialities”, but did not become specific. Seyler sent a message that he must first clarify a few things before he would comment on them.
At DAZN, it was unmistakably audible that the 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2014 World Cup participants would no longer have a future. He is also no longer part of the weekly podcast “Game on”, which he and commentator Elmar Paulke accompanied for 89 episodes.

It is the second time that the Paulke / Seyler duo has been blown up. Both had a long history together as a duo at Sport1 until the commentator switched to DAZN in 2018. Seyler could have stayed with the special interest broadcaster at the time, but accepted another media project that was ultimately not realized and disappeared from the screen for a year.

The platform is based in Augsburg and has so far only been represented in the sports sector with a motorsport program.
