Dallas to play San Francisco in first NFL playoff game

The Cowboys won their last game of the season by defeating the Eagles 51-26 in Philadelphia and with the results of the last week of the regular season, the team of Dallas will host the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the NFL playoffs. Here we tell you how to watch the game on TV.

The Cowboys are the champions of the Eastern Division of the National Conference and that will allow them to play in their stadium the first game of the postseason.

Under the current postseason format, only the No. 1 seeds in each conference receive a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

The other six teams from each conference meet on Wild Card Weekend.

Dallas was seeded in third place in the National Conference while San Francisco obtained sixth place after beating the Los Angeles Rams in overtime.

The first day of the playoffs will be played from January 15 to 17, Dallas will play its game against San Francisco at AT&T Stadium, on Sunday, January 16 at 3:30 pm, Central United States time.

It should be remembered that this is the first season in NFL history in which 17 regular season games were played.

The 49ers and Cowboys have a rich history in the playoffs and the last time they met was in the National Conference Championship game of the 1994 season.

Dallas leads the series among teams in the postseason with a 5-2 record.

In the 1990s, the Cowboys and 49ers faced each other three consecutive seasons in the National Conference Championship game, and the Cowboys won two of those meetings.
