The 2022 pass in Argentine football so far, is that of Edwin Cardona to Racing Club. The Antioquia midfielder will seek to take revenge in the ‘academy’ after a stage with two chapters in Boca Juniors.
Cardona will be part of a select list of players who wore the Atlético Nacional and Racing de Avellaneda shirts. In addition, it is recalled that the coach Reinaldo Merlo was in charge of the bank of purslane and racinguistas, having a sweeter memory with that 2001 title.
We began this review with Gastón Pezzuti, an Argentine goalkeeper who was champion with Racing and Nacional, the goal emerged from the lower ranks of the ‘academy’ and arrived at Nacional in 2009, where he was champion in 2011 and 2012.

Andrés Ibargüen after winning five titles with Atlético Nacional in two seasons (2015-2017), for the second half of 2017 he ended up at Racing Club, where he played just 11 games, but it was his platform to continue his career in Mexico with Club América .
José Luis Prentelli was in Racing from 1965 to 1967, where he went to Atlético Nacional. Along with Gerardo Bedoya, José Luis Brown and Edwin Cardona, they are the four players to have played for Boca Juniors, Racing Club and Atlético Nacional. Jhon Édison Castaño was the first Colombian to arrive at Racing Club, the Pereirano only played eleven games in Argentina in 1989, without much success and also suffered a serious injury in training. With Atlético Nacional he played in the 90’s, where he could hardly be part of the purslane team.
Óscar ‘Coco’ Rossi was in 1954 with Racing and in 1966 with Atlético Nacional. On the attack front, Wilder Guisao was at Nacional in 2014 and moved to Racing in 2016, after a stint in Toluca in Mexico and Sao Paulo in Brazil. Hernán Barcos was another player who wore both shirts, emerging from Racing and in Nacional he went through 2019. Finally, Héctor Rubén Berón was in Racing in 1962 and in 1969 in Nacional.
