Carlos “Piscis” Restrepo arrives at Nacional

The Antioquia coach, Carlos Alberto “Piscis” Restrepo, arrives at Atlético Nacional to contribute their experience and knowledge.

Sources close to the Purslane club confirmed that the 60-year-old coach will be part of the technical staff of the eleventh paisa.

“Piscis” has been champion of the South American Sub-20 in Argentina in 2013, gold of the Bolivarian Games in Trujillo (Peru) that same year, as well as champion with Atlético Junior in 1995 and the Concacaf League 2017 with Olimpia de San José de Costa Delicious.

Pisces comes to the team that Alejandro Restrepo guides and that will have action in the Copa Libertadores and local Colombian soccer tournaments.

Restrepo’s last presence in a professional club was in 2020 when directed the San Carlos Sports Association, of Costa Rica.

In Colombia, “Piscis” was coach of Once Caldas (between 1992 and 1994), Junior (from 1995 to 1996), Independiente Medellín (from 1996 to 1997), Deportes Tolima (1998), Deportes Quindío (1999) and Deportivo Pasto ( 2000).

Then, in 2001, he went on to direct the Deportivo Táchira of the Venezuelan First Division. His journey has focused on Central American countries such as Costa Rica and Honduras, he was also a candidate to lead the Honduran national team.
