Carballés says goodbye in the first round of Adelaide to Djere | Sports

The Spanish Roberto Carballés said goodbye to the first exchange of the Adelaide international, a preparatory tournament for the Australian Open, against the Serbian Laslo Djere (7) by a tight 7-5 and 7-6 (1) that slightly exceeded the two game hours.

The 28-year-old from Tenerife, who had beaten the Balkan in four of the six times that they faced each other, was very close on the scoreboard but far from intimidating the service of a Djere who did not concede a break ball to serve.
