Just like Rüdiger, the Dane’s contract expires at the end of the season. Contract talks with the Blues are sluggish. The 25-year-old is said to have received an offer, but hesitates because it does not meet his financial demands.
According to Romano, Bayern have “strong interest” in the defender, who could replace Niklas Süle next summer should he leave the club. In addition to Munich, FC Barcelona should also be on Christensen’s turn.
